Wonder Woman Wednesday: Mai Tran

She’s one of those women. How does she do it all, and with so much style? I have no idea! She inspires me with not just all that she does but how she does it: with grace, boundless enthusiasm, and social media genius.
I first met Mai a few years ago when she ran Crave Portland and I ran Mamapreneurs, Inc./The Power MOB. We’ve both gone through various professional transitions since then and I have to tell you, she is one of my favorite social media peeps. My days are never the same, but I am always tweeting, emailing and Chattering, while collaborating w/awesome colleagues and hyper-tasking w/fabulous people!

How do you find your bliss?
I’m all about finding immediate gratification (aka bliss), and I’ll do whatever it takes to get what I want, right then and there. Even if it means renting a last minute zipcar to run out for Rocky Road Ice Cream in the middle of the night. I’ll do it! Like Becki Singer would say, Shopping’s My Cardio — I’d say food’s my bliss!

What’s your idea of food bliss?
Anything sweet or savory… I love it all! My current favorite restaurants in Portland are Bamboo Sushi and Lauralhurst Market and in San Francisco/Bay Area are Locanda and Morimoto Napa. Try them and tweet me your favorite dishes!
What’s your idea of style bliss?

What is your idea of Saturday morning bliss?
Considering that I am rarely home due to my crazy travel schedule, I look forward to naturally waking up without an agenda and reading flipboard or watching videos on showyou with my appleTV and iPad. I love lazy lounge days!
What is the best piece of advice you have been given in life that you pass along to others?
Find your passion and go with it. Everything else will fall into place organically.

It’s true! Who doesn’t love Mai?
Yes, Mai is one of those women who you grow to like her instantly when you meet her online (like how I did via email), then come to LOVE her when you finally get to meet her in person. I adore her, and she makes me want to find my inner sassy and stylish ways!!
